What you'll do
- Serve as the engineering focal for the safety, airworthiness, reliability, serviceability, availability, and appearance of cabin furniture, functions, and payload systems across the fleet
- Lead a team of subject matter experts and take ownership of the technical standards that keep cabins compliant, reliable, and beautifully presented
- Review and implement Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Supplemental Type Certificates
- Manage fleet configuration and change control
- Collaborate with internal business functions, OEMs, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure continued airworthiness in full compliance with GACA regulations
- Establish and govern safety and technical standards
- Develop modification business cases with cost-benefit analysis and downtime planning
- Drive continuous improvement alongside Reliability and AMP
- Build and mentor a cohesive Cabin and Payloads Systems team while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, business continuity, and 24/7 support
What they're looking for
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, an Aviation discipline, or holding an aircraft engineer's type rating
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in aviation continuing airworthiness management (CAMO), engineering, or technical services within a commercial airline environment
- Extensive experience in cabin interiors and configuration management, including seats, monuments, interior furnishings, non-equipment furnishings, galleys, and cabin systems
- Sound understanding of airworthiness, reliability, and fleet support requirements
- Proven experience interfacing with line maintenance, base maintenance, and workshop functions
- Demonstrated leadership of multi-national engineering teams, OEMs, and technical consultants

In this role, you will lead a team of subject matter experts and take ownership of the technical standards that keep our cabins compliant, reliable, and beautifully presented, from the review and implementation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Supplemental Type Certificates to fleet configuration management and change control. About You

You will also bring proven experience interfacing with line maintenance, base maintenance, and workshop functions, alongside demonstrated leadership of multi-national engineering teams, OEMs, and technical consultants to deliver successful operational and business outcomes.
