Preferred Exposure: Two wheeler vehicle components design viz., Frame, stands swing arm etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for design & development of chassis components like step holders, main stand, side stand, Fuel tank, trim parts like side covers, cowls etc.
• Develop new design concepts & its analytical / experimental evaluation
• Address DFM/DFA/DFS aspects in design
• Understand field & internal testing failure phenomenon, analyze & provide countermeasures
• Create & evaluate 3D packages, clearances with interfacing parts, conduct stack up analysis.
• Check 2D drawings & incorporate GD&T parameters
• Conduct FE analysis & interpret results for design decisions
• Co-ordination with CAE, Testing, materials, manufacturing, service, vendor teams
• Suggest & execute VA/VE ideas

Technical/Functional requirement:

• Basic design knowledge of two wheeler vehicle system parts.
• Well versed with 3D modelling & drawing generation in UG-NX.
• Knowledge of stress analysis viz., Ansys, Hypermesh tools.
• Knowledge of CAD modelling, PLM tools. Hands on experience on UG-NX, Team center will be added advantage
• Exposure to manufacturing process like forging, Aluminium PDC/GDC, Press & fabrication, etc.
