About the role

 

As a Compensation & Benefits Process Expert, you will play a key role in delivering compensation and benefits processes across the Benelux and Nordics organization. You will ensure salary and benefits cycles are executed accurately and on time, provide operational support to managers and HR stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvements within the Compensation & Benefits function.

Working closely with Payroll, HR Business Partners, HR Shared Services and external vendors, you will help maintain high-quality, compliant C&B processes while supporting various compensation initiatives and projects.

 

 

Your responsibilities

 

Execute Compensation & Benefits processes

• Coordinate and execute annual salary review cycles, bonus payments and other recurring compensation processes
• Ensure all activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines
• Support the operational delivery of compensation and benefits programs

 

Data management

• Prepare, validate and reconcile compensation and benefits data
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies before payroll processing
• Ensure accurate and timely transfer of information to Payroll

 

Stakeholder support

• Act as a first point of contact for managers and HR Business Partners regarding compensation and benefits queries
• Provide guidance on C&B policies, processes and procedures
• Escalate complex cases where appropriate

 

Compliance & process governance

• Follow established standard operating procedures and internal controls
• Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails and process checklists
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant legislation

 

Projects & continuous improvement

• Participate in compensation and benefits projects, including the implementation of new plans and process improvements
• Support the rollout of new C&B initiatives across the business
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency

 

Reporting & analysis

• Prepare standard and ad hoc compensation reports and analyses
• Support participation in external compensation and salary benchmarking surveys
• Provide recurring reports for Payroll, Finance and Audit teams

 

Collaboration

• Work closely with Payroll, HR Shared Services, HR Business Partners and external vendors
• Coordinate activities across stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery of C&B processes
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues

 

 

What you bring

 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
• Experience in Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations or Payroll
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience working with HRIS and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within strict deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Fluent in Dutch and English (B2 level and above);
