Job Description

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders through our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Speaker Series, gaining valuable business insights and career perspectives, while also giving back through our annual volunteering day, supporting the communities in which we live and work.

About the Role:

The Analytics LDP is a 24-month commitment designed cultivate your business acumen, gain on-the-job training, network in a supportive, inclusive, team-based environment, have exposure to senior leaders and contribute to the success of the company through three, 8-month rotations.

The Finance & Analytics team supports the analysis of business processes and works at developing solutions to best support the organization. As an Analytics LDP, you will work with team members to support the following areas:

• Finance
• Risk Management
• Interactive Marketing
• Technology
• Data Management

After exploring the breadth of the business unit(s) through each rotation, LDPs may have the opportunity to post to a permanent position within Ameriprise Financial.

How you’ll spend your time… 

Responsibilities vary depending on current rotation and assigned projects(s) and may include: 

  • Participating on project teams responsible for developing solutions for opportunities within the business area to enhance the advisor and client experience 

  • Recommending and participating in enhancements to existing processes 

  • Assists in resolving problems or issues through trouble shooting 

  • Data analysis and reporting 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Current Senior at a 4-year university pursing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Math Economics, or related field 

  • Graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience 

  • Commitment to complete the full 24-month Leadership Development Program

  • High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics 

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities 

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills  

  • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively with all levels of the organization including team members, managers, and senior leaders  

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

In-Office Collaboration 

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process 

 

 

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $73,000. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
