  • Participate in the strategic planning for all divisional-level fundraising programs in concert with the Advancement team.

Overview

Location: Divisional Headquarters, Advancement Department (Hartford, CT)

Status: Non-exempt, Full-time

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday–Friday; 8:00 am–4:00 pm

 

Scope of Position: Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating all annual fund strategies and programs for the Southern New England Division, including direct mail. Provide daily oversight of donor database programs. Maintain donor files utilizing database software, process gifts, and donation acknowledgments.

  • Provide recommendations as to the solicitation calendar and messaging.
  • Work with Advancement staff to prepare mailings, thank you letters, and other special communications related to corporations, foundations, special events, mid- and high-level donors, and William Booth Society members.
  • Work to track mail across the Division to ensure no gaps in receiving donation copies.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Three years of experience in a fundraising role with a proven record of success.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects.
