Job Description

Client

This is for a new opportunity with an existing ICG client, a leader in power generation equipment, that is interested in conducting a review of one of its business units. The affiliate selected will become a member of an ICG team conducting the review.

Role

Conduct a detailed review of the business unit with the goal of assessing financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities. The work will require financial analysis, assessment of depreciation policies, overhead allocations, net realisable value analysis and assessments of management and financial reporting.

Key Deliverables:

Assess financial performance
Review and assess the existing asset NPV model and its appropriateness to drive investment decisions.
Consider and recommend alternatives
Build a profitability modeling capability that can be updated by the business quarterly by branch, segment, etc
Contribute to a final report and recommendations

Logistics

Start date: We anticipate the role will require 4 – 6 weeks of effort starting in late March. If the candidate excels in the role, there may be potential for extensions to support their transformation.

Location: Melbourne on site highly preferred, but open to remote.

Rates: The daily rate to the consultant will be based on experience for the right professional, final client negotiations and is expected to be approximately $1,000 + GST.
