Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
Senior cybersecurity leader accountable for translating client CIO/CISO priorities into executable cybersecurity initiatives and reliable security operations. The role acts as the senior conduit across client leadership, Genpact delivery teams, and the Genpact Cybersecurity Practice. It combines executive presence with hands-on understanding of SOC/MDR, incident response, Microsoft security, ServiceNow workflows, remediation tracking, and broader cyber transformation.
ROLE PURPOSE
· Serve as the senior cybersecurity interface to client CIO, CISO, cybersecurity leaders, business stakeholders, and Genpact account leadership.
· Translate executive security priorities into actionable plans, workstreams, owners, milestones, risks, and measurable outcomes.
· Coordinate Genpact security and non-security teams to execute cross-domain cyber priorities and remove operational friction.
· Drive SOC/MDR performance, major incident coordination, cybersecurity roadmap execution, Microsoft security maturity, ServiceNow accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Work closely with the Genpact Cybersecurity Practice to bring SMEs, accelerators, playbooks, reference architectures, methods, and transformation capabilities into the engagement.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive and stakeholder leadership: Lead CIO/CISO-level governance, translate cyber issues into business decisions, and provide visibility into risk, service performance, incidents, backlog, and cyber roadmap progress.
SOC/MDR and operational security: Oversee 24x7 monitoring, triage, enrichment, investigation, escalation, response coordination, evidence capture, and closure; monitor SLA, MTTA, MTTR, case aging, false positives, and reopened incidents.
Broader cyber initiatives: Lead or coordinate initiatives across identity, endpoint, email, cloud, SaaS, vulnerability/exposure management, data security, application security, security automation, and governance.
Genpact Cybersecurity Practice alignment: Engage the Cybersecurity Practice for SMEs, methods, accelerators, reusable assets, delivery patterns, roadmap input, and practice-led continuous improvement.
Microsoft security and tooling: Drive maturity across Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, M365 telemetry, detection tuning, threat hunting, and response playbooks.
ServiceNow and case accountability: Ensure qualified security cases use parent-child workflow, resolver task routing, SLA tracking, approvals, evidence, closure notes, reopen criteria, and reporting dashboards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· 15+ years of cybersecurity experience across security operations, cybersecurity transformation, incident response, advisory execution, and enterprise security program delivery.
· Prior experience as a senior security services lead, client security partner, SOC transformation lead, cybersecurity program lead, security delivery executive, or equivalent.
· Hands-on experience leading SOC/MDR operations, including monitoring, triage, investigation, escalation, containment coordination, detection tuning, reporting, and governance.
· Experience driving broader cybersecurity initiatives across identity, cloud, endpoint, vulnerability management, exposure management, application security, data security, automation, or governance.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, and M365 telemetry.
· Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and/or SecOps workflows for security incident management, resolver tasking, SLA tracking, approvals, evidence capture, and closure.
· Experience operating in multi-provider, outsourced, or hybrid delivery environments and working directly with CIOs, CISOs, security leaders, infrastructure leaders, and senior business stakeholders.
