Job Description

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Boston on October 21-22, 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.

The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Boston office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

AECOM Boston Buildings + Places is seeking an Architectural Design Intern to join our team. We are an engaged, energetic, collaborative, award-winning studio with projects in aviation, transit, federal/state/local governments, science/technology, and higher education. It is a dynamic, fast-paced design environment, client-focused and collaborative. Recent projects have been multiple-award winners. We regularly work with other practices on the East Coast and are home to the region's urban design leaders. 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field and must have completed at least 2 years of study. Additional Information

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Boston, MA.  The selected candidate must be available to work in Boston, MA on a scheduled basis.
