Area Sales Manager - Industrial OEM

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of Shakti’s Fire-Fighting Pump Sets (electric, diesel, jockey pumps, and controllers) in sectors such as commercial complexes, petrochemical plants, high-rises, airports, and hospitals.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities into revenue-generating orders.

• Identify and engage potential clients including dealers, distributors, contractors, and consultants.
• Expand reach into new market segments and untapped territories.

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, action plans, and promotional campaigns.
• Participate in exhibitions, dealer meets, and marketing campaigns to increase visibility.

• Conduct regular client visits, engage with sub-dealers and mechanics, and monitor competitor activities.
• Strengthen market positioning and maintain strong relationships with distributors and partners.

• Maintain accurate daily sales reports, MIS, and distributor activity records.
• Utilize digital tools (including Shakti’s mobile app) for reporting and monitoring sales activities.

• Coordinate with service teams to resolve client issues promptly.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention.

• Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Provide accurate forecasts and performance reports to management.

• Ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations (e.g., IS 12469, ISO 2858).
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for compliance and internal purposes.

Skills & Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech or graduate in any stream
