About this role
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support our manufacturing and production operations. The candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic components/products, operating assembly tools and equipment, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring that production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Component Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to assemble products manually or using hand/power tools.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate assembly line machinery, hand tools, and pneumatic equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming parts and finished products for defects, misalignments, or quality issues. Report any deviations to the supervisor immediately.
- Production Efficiency: Meet daily production targets and output quotas without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Maintenance & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation (adhering to 5S or local cleanliness standards). Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection.
