  • Assist with month-end processes including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support inventory accounting activities, stock adjustments and inventory reporting.

  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve variances with local and international stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate financial records across ERP systems and reporting platforms.
  • Support audit processes and contribute to strengthening internal controls.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across finance operations.

Company Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a well-established and globally connected organisation operating within the trading and distribution sector. Working as part of a collaborative and hands-on finance team, this role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, treasury, trade finance, inventory reporting, payroll and compliance functions.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the timely and accurate delivery of core finance activities. The position offers a broad scope, combining traditional accounting responsibilities with exposure to treasury operations, trade finance, inventory accounting, payroll support and compliance reporting.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, overseas finance teams, banking partners and external advisors, supporting strong financial controls and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
