Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Assistant General Manager to play a key leadership role within a vibrant, high-volume venue. Supporting the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, developing future leaders and creating an environment where exceptional service translates into commercial success.

This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who believes outstanding guest experiences are the foundation of sustainable revenue growth and who enjoys mentoring teams to consistently perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading all aspects of venue operations

• Mentor, coach and develop supervisors and front-line team members

• Drive a culture focused on genuine hospitality and memorable guest experiences

• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through service excellence, upselling and guest engagement

• Monitor operational performance, labour costs and venue profitability while maintaining premium service standards

Candidate Profile

You are a confident and inspiring hospitality leader with experience managing large teams in premium, high-volume environments. You are passionate about developing people, building strong workplace culture and understand that commercial success begins with exceptional service.

• Experience in an Assistant General Manager or senior venue leadership role

• A proven ability to mentor, coach and retain high-performing teams
