Assistant Machine Operator

Position Summary:

Coperion is seeking a Machine Operator for its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida. The incumbent will be responsible for operating and monitoring machines efficiently and safely to ensure the production of quality components in accordance with production plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Work You’ll Do:

Operate machines in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Set up and prepare machines for production runs under the guidance of supervisors. Load raw materials and monitor machine operations throughout the production process. Inspect finished components for quality, dimensional accuracy, and defects. Maintain production records, machine logs, and shift reports accurately. Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance activities. Identify and report machine malfunctions, quality issues, and safety concerns promptly. Ensure optimum machine utilization and minimize material wastage. Follow production schedules to achieve daily production targets. Adhere to company safety, quality, and housekeeping standards (5S). Assist in machine changeovers, tool replacements, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

This position is part of the Manufacturing Team.

Basic Qualifications:

• ITI candidates with 1–3 years of experience in machine operation/manufacturing environments.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Ability to read and understand work instructions, technical drawings, and production documents. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine operations. Understanding of quality standards and workplace safety requirements. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform production-related activities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
