Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Business Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence by improving business processes, analyzing performance, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, implement business solutions, and provide insights that support informed decision-making. The successful candidate will combine analytical thinking with strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities to deliver sustainable business improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and management reports to provide actionable insights for leadership.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into process improvements and system enhancements.

  • Review, map, and optimize end-to-end business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and customer experience.

  • Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with relevant teams to implement technology-driven solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Lead and support business improvement initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Work closely with Finance, IT and other business units to ensure seamless execution of cross-functional initiatives.

  • Prepare business cases, process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidelines to support governance and compliance.

  • Monitor operational performance, identify root causes of issues, and recommend practical solutions to improve business outcomes.

  • Support change management initiatives by facilitating communication, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption of new processes and systems.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and collaboration across the organization.

  • Oversee employee-related administrative matters, conduct performance evaluations, set development goals, provide coaching, and support employee growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business operations, business analysis, process improvement, operations management, or a related field.

  • Experience in project coordination, operational improvement, or change management is an advantage.

  • Prior experience leading or supervising a team is preferred.
