Role Overview:

Responsible for managing and optimizing global fleet and mobility programs across India, US, UK, and France, ensuring fleet availability, compliance, cost efficiency, vendor performance, and business continuity. The role serves as the primary point of contact for fleet operations and drives strategic initiatives, process improvements, and regional transformation projects.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

Fleet Operations Management

  • Manage and oversee global fleet operations covering 1,200+ vehicles across multiple regions.
  • Ensure fleet availability to support business and employee mobility requirements.
  • Coordinate vehicle procurement, onboarding, allocation, replacement, and de-fleeting activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all fleet-related operational matters.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Manage relationships with fleet management companies, leasing partners, and service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs and contractual commitments.
  • Conduct vendor reviews and drive corrective action plans where required.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with vehicle registration, insurance, permits, licensing, and regional regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit activities and maintain governance standards.
  • Manage risk mitigation and operational continuity across fleet programs.

Financial Management

  • Control fleet budgets and monitor operational expenses.
  • Review and approve maintenance, repair, and operating costs.
  • Manage invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives through negotiation and process improvements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with HR, Procurement, Finance/AP, Legal, Risk Management, and Global Services teams.
  • Support business stakeholders with timely fleet solutions and issue resolution.
  • Drive fleet policy implementation and process standardization.

Strategic & Transformation Projects

  • Support Fleet RFP initiatives for US and France operations.
  • Lead MVR framework onboarding for US and UK.
  • Manage migration of India fleet operations from SMAS to Ayvens.
  • Support sustainability, mobility, and fleet transformation programs.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Overall experience 8-10 years in relevant field

Language/Communication:

Highly proficient in English & able to communicate effectively with Function Head level stakeholders on routine basis

 

Since the role include to support USA, the associate should have the flexibility to work in 2nd shifts that may range from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm , to cover up to 1pm CT (subject to change).
