Join a growing Neurosciences Critical Care Unit that is expanding from 12 to 16 beds and cares for a complex patient population, including stroke, post-thrombectomy, intracranial hemorrhage, trauma, seizure, and oncology patients. As the Assistant Nurse Director, you will partner with the Nursing Director to provide operational and clinical leadership, coordinate patient care across disciplines, and support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

As part of a Certified Stroke Center, the unit offers exceptional clinical resources, including 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios, dedicated Patient Care Technicians, a Resource RN, and an on-unit Nurse Specialist and Educator. In this leadership role, you will help drive quality initiatives, support staff development, and foster a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence, professional growth, and outstanding patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
  2. License Registered Nurse required., and Certificate 1 Basic Life Support required.
  3. 3-5 years related work experience required and 0-1 years supervisory/management experience required
  4. Demonstrated Leadership
  5. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Age based Competencies:
Employees in this job must be competent to provide patient care to the following age groups: Young adult: 16-30 years, Middle Age: 30 - 60 years, Elderly: 60 -.
Physical Nature of the Job:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus

 

 

Pay Range:

$135,000.00 USD - $198,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
