What you'll do

  • Assist on sourcing of new fabulous primary with innovative delivery systems.
  • Working closely with Engineering and Quality on pack testing and standards, ensuring the finished pack meets all requirements.
  • Support and contribute the CPA management to ensure finished goods and packaging project CPAs are aligned by working closely with the NPD team including identifying & flagging any risks.
  • Responsible for managing artwork process both Primary & secondary, from copy brief through to finished artwork in line with CPAs.
  • Taking Secondary pack from concept through to delivery
  • Work closely with Supply Chain on PO timings for new packaging developments.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with our external pack suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Stay on top of any new packaging innovation and sustainability by working with packaging suppliers.

About the role

As part of the Packaging Development team, the Assistant Packaging Development Manager will play an active supporting role in the project management of all packaging related projects to ensure they are delivered within spec, time and budget. By working closely with Supply Chain & Operations, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory and Marketing you will have a great understanding of the process and ability to provide creative, operational & commercial solutions.

With support from the Lead Packaging Development Manager and a focus on the technical and quality aspects of primary packaging development you will support on the execution of projects relating to the brand’s growth primarily within the colour and complexion sector.

The Assistant Packaging Development Manager will come from a packaging development background and have a passion for creating new innovative, sustainable and amazing looking packaging both in terms of materials and delivery systems. Together with the Lead Packaging Development Manager you will be juggling multiple packaging development projects at the same time with a can-do attitude. This is an excellent opportunity to shape & impact the brand’s product developments and expansion.
