This role is responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

About the Role:

• Evaluate project estimates, budgets, tender documents, and contracts to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with contractual requirements.

• Monitor project costs and expenditures against approved budgets, identify cost variances and commercial risks, and recommend corrective actions.

• Support procurement activities through BOQ preparation, bid evaluation, quotation review, and cost-effective contractor/vendor selection.

• Conduct site measurements and verify work progress, contractor claims, variations, valuations, cost reports, and final accounts to ensure effective commercial management and project governance.

General Responsibilities 

• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets to support effective cost planning and control.

• Manage contractor billing, interim valuations, variation orders, and final account settlements in accordance with contractual requirements.

• Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams to monitor costs, manage commercial risks, and support decision-making.

• Prepare and maintain cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial analyses to ensure effective budget management and cost control.

• Prepare cost reports, valuations, variation orders, and final accounts to support effective commercial management.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, billing, and contract administration for construction projects.

• Strong understanding of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, procurement, variation management, and cost control.

• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and commercial reporting tools.
