Assistant Software Director

Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Software Director to build and manage a software engineering team that will be focused on building and delivering desktop and cloud applications. You will be required to work closely with the Solutions Architect, Team Leads, and Project Manager across the Development, Product, and Testing Teams to understand the technical requirements and set the roadmap for execution, drive the development, and identify and analyze risks. You will have to conduct meetings for your team to make sure they understand what has to be accomplished. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership to teammates through mentorship and coaching. You must ensure the design, development, and unit testing of applications in established standards.

Qualification & Responsibilities:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Must have 20 years of experience in Software Development in C++ & .Net.
• Strong background in product development.
• Expertise in Windows, Mac, and Cloud Applications and working knowledge on Web APIs
• Experience in developing applications in C#, VC++, .NET, VC++/MFC, ADO.Net, and C++.
• Coordination with other developers for cross-functional requirements implementation and tests.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Stack (MFC).
• Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Must be a strong leader and mentor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Objective-C for MAC Development.
• Third-party tools like WX widgets (if known added advantage).
