Position Overview
The Real Estate client relations team works collaboratively with the Client Solutions Group (‘CSG’) who collectively lead and manage capital formation efforts, contribute to strategic growth initiatives and oversee existing client relationships. The successful candidate will act as a technical conduit between investment teams, marketers, and clients, translating real estate market dynamics into actionable, impactful messaging.
You will play a central role in developing investor materials, handling information requests, and coordinating internal and external communications that support fundraising and ongoing client engagement. The position offers high visibility across ICG’s real estate strategies and requires both detailed market fluency and sophisticated relationship management.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and keen to work alongside like-minded individuals as part of a collaborative and committed team. You will require strong communication skills (both written and verbal), benefit from robust analytical skills and demonstrate intellectual curiosity for financial markets.
Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
Serve as a key technical resource within the Real Estate Client Relations team, developing a deep understanding of real estate strategies and underlying market mechanics
Collaborate directly with sales and investment teams to craft accurate, insightful communications and positioning for ICG’s funds and strategies
Support marketers in delivering fund messaging to investors, providing context on fund performance, market trends, and strategy differentiation
Prepare high-quality marketing materials including fund presentations, PPMs, RFPs and DDQs — ensuring materials reflect technical accuracy and narrative clarity
Interpret and synthesise fund and market-level data to inform positioning and shape investor materials
Support the organisation and management of investor meetings, update calls, and strategy AGMs with clear documentation and stakeholder coordination
Contribute to fundraising process tracking and reporting, ensuring senior management receives timely and clear pipeline updates
Collaborate on internal projects aimed at improving data integrity, workflow automation, and team efficiency
Key Requirements/ Qualifications
You will have demonstrable experience of:
Essential
Strong academic background and proven experience in financial markets, with a focus on the debt markets
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts for a range of audiences
Demonstrable commercial literacy and numerical confidence
Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset
Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Desirable
Previous exposure to private debt markets, such as Direct Lending, Mezzanine Finance or Structured Credit
Experience in asset management, investment banking, or working with a placement agent
Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, IMC, ACA) or working toward one
