Job Description

Given our strong pipeline of secured and upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced ICT / Communications and Security leader to join our Brisbane team and provide strategic and technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects.

How you’ll make a difference

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for ICT, Communications and Security projects, overseeing project delivery, commercial performance, client engagement and key stakeholder relationships.

• Lead the development and delivery of integrated ICT and Security solutions across structured cabling, IT networks, wireless, VoIP, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, security alarm systems and cyber security.

• Act as a senior technical advisor to clients, project teams and contractors, providing expert guidance from project inception through design, documentation and construction.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities and contribute to business growth and project pursuits.

• Provide technical governance and quality assurance across projects, ensuring solutions meet relevant standards, project requirements and industry best practice.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and national technology advisory groups across major projects in health, education, aviation, defence, justice and other sectors.

• Lead, mentor and develop engineers and technical staff, fostering capability, knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Qualifications

How you'll make a difference

• Relevant Engineering qualification in Electrical, ICT or Communications, with 15+ years’ industry experience and demonstrated senior leadership experience.

• Professional Engineering Registration and relevant Security Advisor Licence, or eligibility to obtain.

• Extensive experience leading ICT, Communications and Security design and consulting services within the Buildings environment.

• Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage senior stakeholders and provide strategic technical advice.

• Strong commercial awareness, including experience with project costing, proposals, resource planning and business development.

• Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience mentoring and developing technical teams.

• Excellent communication, relationship management and consultative skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
