What you'll do

  • Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support the analysis of data obtained from various sources, including the investment portfolio and cash flow, to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement and additional services to support client needs.
  • Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
  • Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank.
  • Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, risk management and wealth management strategies and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.

Job Description

Purpose of the role

Accountabilities

Join us as an Associate Director within our Large Corporate team working within our Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) sector.

TMT covers a broad range of sectors, across technology (software and hardware businesses), media (broadcasting, content and rights plus marketing, advertising & events), telecommunications services (from infrastructure related to resellers) and a variety of digitally led sectors across B2C and B2B. This role will work alongside a team of Relationship Directors’ and Associate Directors with national coverage of this industry.

You will work closely with your assigned Corporate Bankers in all sales support activity to drive the growth and management of their portfolios, and with Leadership to drive strategic initiatives. Proactively developing appropriate solutions to exceed client expectations and maximise overall satisfaction and advocacy. Supporting the implementation of complex transactions through effective deal management and use of a strong internal network. Assisting with business development activities and managing the onboarding of new client relationships.

To be successful as an Associate Director, you will need:
