What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary functional expert for the enterprise GTN forecasting and planning platform across all Market Access workstreams, including GTN Channel Forecasting, Accrual & Reserve Analysis, and Pre-Deal and Post-Deal Analytics models, with deep knowledge of model mechanics, calculation logic, and data flows.
  • Understand the data model design and architecture within Anaplan, including the structure of lists, modules, line items, and hierarchies, ensuring the platform is built in a scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized manner.
  • Translate business requirements into digital and technical specifications, ensuring platform functionality is updated appropriately as business needs evolve. Document functional and technical requirements clearly enough to drive model changes with or without external implementation support.
  • Build and modify models within Anaplan directly, including creating new modules, updating calculation logic, and modifying user interface screens and dashboards. Perform these activities as a business-side power user, not solely as a requirements gatherer.
  • Partner with IT/Digital teams on platform governance, infrastructure, and deployment, while taking ownership of business-led model changes and enhancements, driving updates through design, build, test, and release cycles independently where appropriate.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for model questions, data discrepancies, and functional issues, diagnosing problems, coordinating resolution with technical teams, and communicating impact and timelines to business stakeholders.
  • Define and maintain the reporting framework for the platform, determining the appropriate output views, report structures, and dashboard components needed to support monthly GTN reviews, rolling forecast cycles, and finance reporting requirements, ensuring leadership has the right information in the right format.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for the Market Access Analytics team, building materials, running hands-on sessions, and ensuring analysts and business users can operate confidently and independently within the platform for their respective workstreams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and evolve the platform over time, gathering feedback from business users, surfacing enhancement requests, prioritizing improvements in partnership with Digital and the GTN COE, and managing the pipeline of model changes through appropriate governance.
  • Coordinate with the Data Engineering and Digital teams to ensure data feeding into the forecasting platform is accurate, timely, and structured correctly, serving as the business-side voice on data requirements and flagging quality issues that affect model outputs.

What they're looking for

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences market access, with exposure to GTN, financial forecasting, contracting analytics, or enterprise planning systems.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise planning or EPM platforms (Anaplan strongly preferred - Level 1 and Level 2 certification a plus).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT/Digital, and external implementation vendors.
  • Experience developing training materials and enabling business users on analytical tools or platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; field of study is open, strong analytical thinkers come from a wide range of backgrounds including life sciences, engineering, mathematics, economics, finance, social sciences, and beyond

Nice to have

  • Experience with SQL and data models
  • Strong communication and training skills, able to explain complex model logic clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative and cross-functional; comfortable working across Finance, Contract Analytics, Digital, and external implementation partners.
  • Self-directed and intellectually curious, able to develop deep expertise in a new platform and become the go-to resource for the Market Access organization.
