Your role as Associate Director, Strategy & Transformation 

We are looking for a seasoned strategy and transformation consultant ready to step into a senior client-facing role with real ownership. You will lead complex, multi-workstream engagements for large enterprises - from strategy through to execution - while building trusted relationships at C-suite and senior leadership level. This is a delivery-first role with a clear commercial dimension.  

What you’ll be working on 

You will step into an active portfolio of senior client engagements, leading complex transformation programmes from strategy through to execution. In practice, this includes: 

• Leading enterprise transformation programmes end-to-end, including programme governance, KPI and OKR management, and executive-level reporting 

• Driving technology strategy and roadmap development across business, IT, and finance stakeholders 

• Leading organisational change and communications for large-scale programmes where stakeholder alignment and adoption are critical 

• Acting as primary point of contact for senior client relationships, building trust and managing challenges proactively 

• Managing multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality and client satisfaction 

• Contributing to proposals, account growth, and business development 

• Leading, mentoring, and developing the consultant teams working alongside you 

• Shaping Riverflex's practice through methodology development and thought leadership 

Who you are 

• 8–12 years in top-tier consulting or a related field, with a strong track record in strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise IT 

• Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional transformation programmes end-to-end 

• Comfortable operating independently at C-suite and senior leadership level - you hold the room without a director behind you 

• Commercially minded - you spot growth opportunities, contribute to proposals, and take ownership of account relationships 

• Strong communicator in English (C1 minimum); Dutch is a plus 

• Willing to travel as needed 

• EU-eligible or open to a Dutch highly skilled migrant visa - we sponsor. 30% ruling support available.
