What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role, the Associate, Field Reporting will provide hands-on technical and operational support for field and leadership reporting. The role will help develop, enhance, validate, refresh, and release dashboards that enable field representatives and leaders to understand targets, execution, customer engagement, sales performance, and business trends.

This position reports to a Senior Manager within Field Excellence and works across business reporting, technical reporting, iDNA/data-management, Incentive Compensation, Field Effectiveness, analytics, and field teams. The role supports reporting platforms such as Vision and Gateway and follows an agile, Jira-based delivery model.

Responsibilities

Dashboard Development and Enhancements

• Build and enhance Tableau dashboards and report tabs using approved requirements, mockups, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Configure KPIs, calculations, filters, hierarchies, navigation, customer and geography views, and other user-facing report features.
• Support minor and major enhancements, including new metrics, source changes, field-force changes, visual redesigns, and new-report development.

Reporting Operations and Release Management

• Execute scheduled test refreshes, production refreshes, quality checks, approvals, and releases for assigned Vision and Gateway reports.
• Monitor refreshes and report availability, investigate failures or anomalies, implement approved fixes, and communicate status within agreed service levels.
• Support quarterly switchovers, report archival, server or platform maintenance, and other recurring reporting-operations activities.

Data Validation and Quality Control

• Validate dashboard outputs against approved business rules, source data, analytical benchmarks, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform unit, functional, regression, and data-quality checks across calculations, filters, access controls, layouts, and user personas.
• Document validation evidence, defects, root-cause findings, fixes, and release sign-offs to support quality, governance, and audit readiness.

Requirements and Field Support

• Support assessment of reporting requests by clarifying the business objective, users, KPIs, data needs, dependencies, priority, and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to report mockups, technical designs, data-requirement documentation, effort estimates, and implementation plans under the guidance of reporting leads.
• Respond to routine field and stakeholder questions, investigate data or dashboard inquiries, and provide clear resolutions or escalations.

Sprint Delivery and Issue Management

• Maintain accurate Jira tickets, including requirements, acceptance criteria, development details, estimates, dependencies, testing evidence, and status.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily coordination, demonstrations, and retrospectives for assigned work.
• Identify delivery risks early, coordinate across business and technical partners, and drive assigned issues and action items through timely closure.

Access, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement

• Process assigned user-access and exception requests and validate that report access is limited to approved business scope and user personas.
• Follow approved development, release, access-control, documentation, and data-handling processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve dashboard performance, simplify recurring operations, strengthen controls, and automate repeatable validation or refresh activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Field Effectiveness, Incentive Compensation, analytics, iDNA/data-management, cross-system operations, and field stakeholders to deliver end-to-end reporting changes.
• Coordinate data dependencies, UAT readiness, feedback, and production-release activities with business and technical partners.
• Communicate progress, decisions, risks, and support needs clearly to stakeholders across geographies and levels.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree and 1 - 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, dashboard development, commercial reporting, and/or sales operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the bio/pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting Tableau dashboards; exposure to enterprise reporting portals is preferred.
• Ability to write SQL queries, assess data requirements, reconcile outputs, and investigate data issues; familiarity with Databricks or comparable data platforms is helpful.
• Strong understanding of data visualization, dashboard usability, calculations, filters, geographic hierarchies, and role-based access.
• Experience with commercial data such as sales, activity, targets, goals, customer/account, claims, and engagement data.
• Experience working in agile delivery models and using Jira or similar tools for backlog, sprint, issue, and release management.
• Strong quality-control discipline, attention to detail, and ability to document testing evidence and communicate defects clearly.
• Effective written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
