We are seeking an Associate, Global Brand Commercialization (PH/IA) role. The Associate will provide support in the execution of brand strategy and vision across DCP.
The role reports to the Director, Global Brand Commercialization and is based in Glendale, CA.
This role is a 24-month Project Hire (PH) or Internal Assignment (IA) position with no guarantee of permanent employment (length of role may change based on business needs).
You Will / Responsibilities:
Brand Development
Support development of annual brand plans
Support business updates for internal and external partners by coordinating data collection, product images, etc.
Identify additional product development and marketing opportunities in partnership with licensing and retail brand development teams
Manage global retail clearances for IP and retail programs
Partners
Support marketing and brand review process with content partners including submissions, feedback capture and implementation
Liaise with Integrated planning and animation studios to coordinate CP involvement in content updates, mobilization meetings and task forces
Activation
Route/manage OPA/Marketing submissions including TV spots, in-store creative, trade communications and more
Support marketing initiative development tied specifically to retail and licensing initiatives
Communication and Sales Tools
Support development, maintenance and distribution of brand tools including play books, fact sheets, pitch decks, Hot Sheets, sizzles, content calendars, and film-related presentations
Support tailored pitch deck development for retail, trade shows and large meetings
Manage communication cadence associated with theatrical releases to internal DCP teams with selling, box office and marketing updates
Support PR needs via asset support, routing support and fact checking
General Support
Team meeting coordination including Agenda generation, recap notes/action steps, follow ups
Develop and maintain collection of samples for various needs
Support movie-specific product showcases for content partners and studio
Other tasks as needed
You Will Have / Required Qualifications:
2+ years of brand, franchise and/or marketing experience (including professional internships)
Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, Keynote & PowerPoint and other asset management software
Solid presentation skills and demonstrated ability to craft story with the ability to motivate both internal and external partners. Experience building decks preferred.
Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, flexible, detail-oriented
Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments at a time. Has strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
Friendly, people oriented, strong collaborator and team player
Resourceful, innovative and responsive to change
Administrative experience including basic office tasks such as meeting coordination, agenda creation, notes and actions steps, routing of materials, research and insights work, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to be resourceful, decisive, confident under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Cross-functional knowledge both internally and externally working across departments such as marketing, brand, business affairs, legal, operations and more.
Experience working with consumer products (softlines and hardlines) and interacting with licensees
Ability to interact with a variety of levels of decision makers and staff.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $72,000.00 to $96,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
