Associate, Horizontal Operations - Enterprise Onboarding

Capital One’s Enterprise Learning & Development team is seeking an Associate to support all logistics and horizontal operations that make Enterprise Onboarding run! In this role, you will own the logistics, operations, and delivery for all Enterprise Onboarding on-site and virtual events, partnering with stakeholders across the enterprise to create a welcoming environment for our newest associates! 

As Capital One’s flagship onboarding program, Enterprise Onboarding is the first learning experience new associates have at Capital One. Enterprise Onboarding supports all associates and aims to provide a seamless, helpful, and engaging onboarding experience across all job families. Our flagship onboarding program includes a 2-day welcoming experience in an associates first week, with additional resources provided thereafter to fuel a new associates’ growth and development. You would support delivery and execution of this flagship program. 

How You’ll Work

Our dedicated Enterprise Onboarding Team team works with highly engaged partners to envision and deliver the future of onboarding at Capital One. As an Associate focused on horizontal operations, you will deliver the logistics for event logistics and support horizontal initiatives across the team.

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Has strong organizational skills and follow-through 

  • Has a meticulous attention to detail 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to think on their feet and solve problems in real-time 

  • Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders to deliver events and experiences 

  • Foundational project management skills 

  • Ability to identify trends, provide recommendations for improvement, and escalate as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Military Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Learning & Development or combination

  • At least 1 year in event management or supporting tactical program logistics 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • 2+ years of experience in Project or Process Management 

  • 2+ years of event management and logistics experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $73,300 - $83,700 for Learning Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
