What you'll do

  • Serve as project lead for regulatory procedure implementation and process improvement initiatives including coordinating department training, communication protocols and in-services.
  • Assist with management of suspect products including investigation, gaining control of the products, completing necessary documents for suspect product management, product release and final disposition.
  • Process collections-related problems through the problem management system including attending root cause meetings, visiting blood drives and/or collection sites to assess for compliance and standardization and responding to procedural questions from staff at blood drives and on call.
  • Process reports including customer complaints, material review board process, supply and equipment problem deficiency reports and ensure reports are accurate, complete, clear and concise.
  • Develop, implement and monitor process / quality improvement initiatives, internal and external inspections / evaluations and staff training protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and resolve regulatory issues.
  • Participate on cross-functional teams to support communications, problem management and process improvement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. System 11 training preferred.
