  • Perform operational oversight on repo’s and cooperation bonds settlement and journal bookings.
  • Verify cash settlement activity and process the related accounting entries.
  • Notify traders and management of bond settlement fails and maintain fail logs.
  • Prepare, maintain, and reconcile TMPG fail charge records and reports with counterparties.
  • Prepare, maintain, and reconcile monthly BDC fee statements.

Overview

 

The US Government Bond & Repo Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely, entry and verification of Securities and Repo transactions through maintaining and verifying bond and repo trades across systems, including Si/RE and BONY, ensuring accurate trade entry, confirmation, and cash settlement. Monitors systems, reconciles accounts and coupons, reports and manages bond fails and TMPG charges, and supports regulatory operations and departmental functions as needed.

What you’ll be doing

  • 3-5  years of experience in Treasury Settlement, securities operations, or repo operations within a bank or financial institution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
