What you'll do
- To record ECGs in designated places throughout LHCH.
- To comply with departmental policy ensuring optimal quality recordings.
- Demonstrates empathy when dealing with patients in distressing conditions.
- To be proficient at basic & advanced ECG interpretation.
- To ensure that all data is appropriately recorded and archived in line with departmental procedures.
- Participate as a 2nd person in CP led Exercise testing.
- Assists in monitoring and maintaining quality of services within Cardiac Diagnostics.
- Ensures that individual own level of practice is kept up to date with current developments in the field of Cardiology.
- Attach/removal and downloading of Ambulatory Monitoring equipment.
- Assists CP during a wide spread range of diagnostic investigations such as Echocardiography, Pacemaker Follow Up, TOE and Linq implant.
- In line with Departmental and Professional bodys guidance actively participates in Identification and development of roles where assistance could be beneficial.
- To communicate effectively with patients.
