About this role
We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia.
Job Summary:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Collect primary biological samples as a licensed phlebotomist for internal laboratory use
- Analyze routine data to confirm procedures are operating within acceptable tolerances
- Identify, document, and escalate analytical deviations or unusual results to senior laboratory staff
- Prepare data analysis results for upload into the LIMS system under senior staff guidance
- Assist with quality investigations, deviations, and corrective actions
- Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for laboratory analysis
- Support equipment calibration, maintenance, and hands‑on training in areas of competency
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment with knowledge of GLP
- Active phlebotomy license with hands‑on blood collection experience
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document laboratory activities and results
- Proficiency with routine laboratory calculations, data review, and quality control metrics
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to support cross‑functional laboratory teams

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $41,400.00 - $86,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Company
