Associate Systems Engineer

About The Role

As an Associate Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing onsite support to end users across desktop, laptop, mobile and peripheral environments. Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll troubleshoot incidents and service requests, support hardware refresh and deployment activities, maintain technology assets and help deliver a seamless support experience.

You'll work across a variety of customer locations, supporting both day-to-day operational needs and larger project activities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing onsite desktop, laptop, peripheral and mobile device support
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Delivering deskside, field and priority support services
• Supporting hardware refresh, deployment and migration projects
• Managing IT assets, stock control and device lifecycle activities
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge articles
• Identifying recurring issues and contributing to service improvement initiatives
• Undertaking metropolitan and regional site visits as required
• Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong stakeholder relationships
• Participating in after-hours support and on-call activities when required

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Previous experience in desktop support, end user support or IT service delivery environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
• Experience supporting mobile devices, including iOS and Android
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
• A current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to customer locations
• Experience supporting hardware deployments, refresh programs and asset management activities
• Exposure to SCCM/Configuration Manager and ITIL practices will be highly regarded
• ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator or similar certifications are advantageous
• A collaborative approach and passion for continuous learning

Successful applicants will be required to complete relevant background screening and security checks as part of the onboarding process.
