What you'll do
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients and take responsibility for audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion
- Lead statutory audits and independent examinations, including specialist areas such as charity audits and solicitor rules engagements
- Support and supervise junior members of the team
- Prepare statutory accounts, including consolidated accounts where required
- Draft corporation tax returns and assist with the preparation of non-audit accounts assignments
- Work closely with Managers and Partners to develop technical knowledge and build client relationships
What they're looking for
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Solid grounding in accounts preparation and corporate tax compliance within practice
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively
Nice to have
- Experience with software packages such as CCH Audit Automation, CCH Accounts, Xero, Sage and Microsoft Office
