About this role

Aureol Global Connections is looking for Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct vehicle testing to ensure repairs have been completed successfully.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and repair specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and completed work.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
  • Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding repair requirements and progress.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or Motor Vehicle Technician.

Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.

Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.

Experience using vehicle diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair documentation.

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Fluent in English.

Full, valid driving licence (preferred or required, depending on the role).

Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Technology or equivalent is an advantage.
