Job description for AutoCAD Draughtsman
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts for various projects using AutoCAD.
· Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD, ProE, and other 3D modeling software as required.
· Conversant with designing software like autocad,3D Modeling,Revit,ProE ,solid words,inventor and etc.
· Modify existing drawings based on feedback and project specifications.
· Develop models and drawings based on initial designs and specifications provided by engineers, architects, and project managers.
· Conduct site visits to gather information and verify measurements as needed for projects.
· 3d modelling and detailing
· Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
· Maintain organized project files and documentation to support project management.
· Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports as needed.
· Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD features and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Draftsman or CAD Technician with a strong portfolio of technical drawings and 3D models.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ProE, and other 3D modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, technical drawing standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with 3D Rendering, and simulation software is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain and present technical information effectively.
