Seeking an experienced Automation Controls Technician/Installer for a direct hire position with our client in Waterford, CT
Pay: $48 - $55 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities
- Install conduit, low-voltage wiring, and BAS control components.
- Mount, wire, label, and terminate sensors, relays, actuators, and other control devices.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Assist with system startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and owner training.
- Prepare as-built documentation.
- Coordinate work with other trades and attend project meetings as needed.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications.
- Follow all safety policies and use required PPE.
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects efficiently.
- Work overtime, varied shifts, and travel occasionally as needed.
Qualifications- Connecticut E2 or L6 License required.
- High school diploma or technical school certificate preferred.
- 2–5 years of BAS, controls, or electrical installation experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
- Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to safely perform physical work while using required personal protective equipment.
