  • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management.
  • Build and support orchestration solutions that coordinate complex workflows across systems, applications, and environments.

  • Hands-on experience with configuration management platforms such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt.

  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration experience.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Git and source control best practices.

  • Experience with workflow orchestration technologies such as Airflow, Argo Workflows, Temporal, or AWS Step Functions.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms including Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK, or EFK.

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking an Automation & Orchestration Engineer to design, build, and maintain the systems that power automation across our technology environment. This role is responsible for eliminating manual, repetitive processes by developing scalable solutions for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows.

The ideal candidate combines software engineering, systems administration, and DevOps expertise to create reliable, self-service automation that improves efficiency, reduces risk, and accelerates service delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Orchestration

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management.

  • Build and support orchestration solutions that coordinate complex workflows across systems, applications, and environments.
