About this role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing concepts and a keen interest in automation frameworks and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Design and execute test automation frameworks
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs
- Collaborate with developers and QA team
- Ensure software quality before release
- Continuously improve test coverage and automation processes
Required Skills
- Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium / TestNG / Cypress)
- Basic programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript
- Understanding of software testing concepts (STLC, SDLC)
- Familiarity with manual testing basics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with API testing (Postman / Rest Assured)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Basic understanding of performance testing tools
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech / B.E / MCA / BCA or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in testing/automation
- Freshers with strong automation knowledge can apply
