Hourly base pay rate is $26.44 - $39.71/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

There are multiple open positions. Candidates may be hired at one of the following levels depending on experience, qualifications, and business need:

Automotive Technician Level 2

Hourly Pay Range: 120% Geo: $26.44 – $39.71 per hour

Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, Day Shift

Role‑Specific Requirements

Automotive Technician Level 2 - $7,000 Bonus

Summary
You’ll get your hands dirty serving as a mid-level auto tech performing medium-duty work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
  • The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Preferred

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Current ASE Certification: G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 when required by leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing highly skilled maintenance and repairs for all vehicles.
  • Performing diagnostics which may include brake components, tires, suspension components, drivability and complete repairs.

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
