Translation in Inuktitut will be available shortly A person who, in a home, residence, group home or similar environment, assumes a set of tasks designed to accompany and support the user and his or her family or to compensate for his or her incapacities in the accomplishment of his or her activities of daily or domestic life. He or she also sees to promoting the integration and socialization of the user in individual and community activities. They look after the hygiene, well-being, comfort, supervision and general needs of the users. They install certain devices or provide certain invasive and non-invasive care to assist with activities of daily living, for which they have been trained. They may distribute and administer medication. They may prepare meals or carry out domestic tasks. She informs the managers and members of the team of her observations on the needs of the user and his family. Elle renseigne les responsables et les membres de l’équipe de ses observations sur les besoins de l’usager et de sa famille. En collaboration avec les autres intervenants, elle participe à l’identification des besoins de l’usager ainsi qu’à l’élaboration du plan de service ou d’intervention et à la réalisation de celui-ci.
