Job Description

• Operate and monitor boiler systems, including fuel supply, water levels, pressure gauges, and temperature controls; conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, tubes, and valves
• Perform water treatment and chemical analysis to ensure proper water quality; document all operational activities, maintenance performed, fuel consumption, and system parameters in maintenance logs
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, implementing corrective actions or escalating problems to maintenance personnel as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and local regulatory requirements; respond promptly to alarms and abnormal conditions to maintain system integrity
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule repairs and system upgrades while maintaining a clean work environment and working shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and maintaining industrial boiler systems
• Strong knowledge of steam generation, pressure vessel operations, and related mechanical systems
• Familiarity with safety protocols and local regulatory compliance requirements
• Proficiency in water treatment procedures and chemical analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate record-keeping and documentation
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve operational issues
• Ability to work shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in industrial environments
• Preferred: Boiler operator certification or equivalent credentials
• Preferred: Experience with automated boiler control systems and energy efficiency optimization
• Preferred: Knowledge of multiple boiler types and configurations
