The Box Office Attendant is responsible for ticket sales and customer service for all ticketed events at the Angel of the Winds Arena. This is a great position for college students looking for part-time work, full-timers who have free time in the late afternoon starting at 4:00 pm, and those who are looking for a little extra income in a fun, fast-paced, customer-service part-time environment.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.77.

Angel Of The Winds Arena is a three-venue, state-of-the-art multi-purpose complex located in the heart of downtown Everett, WA. This seamless complex offers an NHL regulation ice rink open year-round and diverse arena space that can be used for WHL hockey, basketball, indoor football, trade shows, concerts, and more, as well as a full conference center that can host conventions, meetings, weddings, banquets, and more.
- Operates Ticketmaster to process ticket sales for all events ticketed through the arena.
- Provides accurate information regarding ticket prices, event dates and times, parking, directions to the arena and arena offices, and general downtown Everett information.
- Collects and accurately records customer information for advance ticket sales.
- Maintains clean, organized, and fully stocked workstations, including necessary supplies, flyers, and informational materials.
- Assists patrons with special requests, concerns, and ticketing issues, providing appropriate resolutions or directing them to the appropriate resource.
- Answers incoming telephone calls and provides courteous and accurate assistance to patrons.
- Provides information regarding ADA accommodations and accessibility services both in person and over the telephone.
- Performs general office and administrative duties as assigned.
- Reconciles individual ticket sales and ensures accurate handling and accounting of ticket revenue.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Previous box office, ticketing, or cash-handling experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with web-based customer service and ticketing software, including the ability to navigate multiple screens, menus, and drop-down selections quickly and accurately using a computer mouse.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with patrons, coworkers, and other staff.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and knowledgeable when assisting patrons in person and over the telephone.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with box office, administrative, ice hockey, and arena operations staff.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and remain mobile throughout the workday as required.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on the Arena's event schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
