About this role
Sr. Video Editor (Performance + Content)
We are looking for a strong video editor who can create high-quality ads with a clear focus on retention and conversions.
This role is for someone who understands performance content deeply and can translate ideas into clean, effective edits.
Location & Details
- Location: Kandivali West, Mumbai
- Work Setup: On-site (flexibility can be discussed)
- Work Days: Monday to Saturday
- Timings: 10 AM to 7 PM
- Compensation: Based on skills
- Openings: 2
What You Will Work On
- Performance ads (primary focus)
- Short-form content (Reels, social)
- Occasional long-form or brand videos
What You Will Do
- Edit videos for ads and social media
- Optimise for hold rate and retention
- Create strong openings (first 2 to 3 seconds)
- Structure videos for clarity and conversions
- Create and test A/B versions
- Use clean cuts and minimal motion (no over-editing)
- Improve videos based on feedback and performance
- Deliver ~1 high-quality video per day
- Work closely with content, design, and founders
Must Have
- 4 to 6 years experience in video editing
- Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
- Proven experience editing performance marketing creatives
- Strong understanding of:
- Hook (first 2 to 3 seconds)
- Retention and pacing
- Conversion-focused structure
- Ability to create videos that drive engagement and conversions
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Ability to handle feedback and iterate quickly
Good to Have
- Basic Photoshop or design skills
- Ability to improve scripts, hooks, or structure
- Experience in D2C / consumer brands
