Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified candidates for a summer Environmental Engineer Internship beginning May 2027.
Interns will gain hands-on experience across the Environmental Department in an industrial setting.Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting water treatment operations
- Working with Baghouse systems
- Assisting with stormwater management
- Contributing to sustainability projects
- Supporting the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- Troubleshooting water chemistry projects
- Air emission management projects
- Pollution control device management
- Collaborating with teammates throughout the Environmental Department
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Nucor Steel Nebraska will not sponsoremployment visas now or in the future.
