Breakfast Server - Le Supreme

Compensation: $8.00/hr + tips 

Shift: 7am shift start time 

Availability: All applicants must have 3-4 days a week availability at the above start time

Le Suprême is a Parisian-inspired brasserie located in Detroit's historic Book Tower. The restaurant brings the
spirit of the classic French brasserie to downtown Detroit through thoughtful food and beverage, warm
hospitality, and a lively, polished dining experience. Le Suprême is part of Method Co., a hospitality company
focused on creating distinct, experience-driven hotels, restaurants, and residential concepts.

The Role
Join the experience as we are seeking an energetic and hospitality-driven Breakfast Server to join the team at Le Suprême. The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing gracious, knowledgeable, and efficient service while creating a welcoming start to each guest's day. This position works closely with the culinary and front-of-house teams to deliver a polished breakfast experience that reflects Le Suprême's service standards\

 

What You'll Do

• Warmly greet guests, guide them through the breakfast menu, and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, coffee, and
  beverage offerings.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while anticipating guest needs and maintaining proper steps of service.
• Complete opening duties, side work, table settings, station setup, and restocking to prepare the dining room for service.
• Clear, reset, and maintain tables and service areas to ensure a clean and polished environment.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, guest feedback, and service issues to the appropriate
  team members.
• Work collaboratively with servers, support staff, culinary team members, and restaurant leadership during service.
• Follow all Method Co. and Le Suprême standards related to food safety, sanitation, appearance, and guest service.

Who You Are

• Bright, engaging, and passionate about hospitality, beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Previous serving or restaurant experience required; upscale, high-volume, or brasserie experience strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, warm, and professional presence.
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays, plates, and service items.
• Comfortable learning and using restaurant POS systems.
• Must be willing to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Working Conditions/Environment:

• The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and
  stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
• Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
• The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50
  pounds.
• The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee typically
  encounters while performing the essential functions of the position.
