The services available to customers include emergency response, construction services, catastrophe response, contents restoration, environmental services, fire & smoke damage, and water damage repair. Apex Restoration is seeking a candidate that can provide exceptional attention to detail in the role of Budget Coordinator. This person must be very organized, have great oral and written communication skills, and have excellent customer service skills. The Budget Coordinator must be flexible and able to adapt to changing demands within a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

 

• 
  Hourly Rate: Starting at $17.00/ hr (DOE)

Schedule:

 

• 
  8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Some after hours calls may be required

 

Responsibilities:

 

• 
  Work closely with project managers and superintendents to order/purchase materials needed for construction projects
• 
  Reconcile all material purchases to the project budget
• 
  Coordinate rental of equipment such as dumpsters and mobile storage units needed for projects
• 
  Answer all phone calls made to the budget line
• Perform any other duties as required
• May be cross-trained

 

Qualifications:

 

• 
  2+ years’ experience in an administrative or similar role
• Accounting experience preferred
• Understanding of construction budgets and margins
• 
  Excellent customer service skills
• 
  Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• 
  Accurate and detailed-oriented
• 
  Proven strong time management and organizational skills
• 
  Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• 
  Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
• 
  Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Basic understanding of math

Requirements:

• 
  Must have a valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• 
  Must pass a background check
• 
  Must pass a drug test
• 
  No felony convictions in the past 7 years
• 
  Must maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
