About this role

Business Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be a subject matter expert and program leader responsible for analyzing organizational needs, managing complex initiatives, and driving significant improvements across the enterprise. This role blends hands-on analytical and staff support functions with strategic leadership to enhance business processes, ensure compliance, and guide programs within a specialized domain.

Operating with increasing autonomy, you will handle tasks ranging from assisting with policies and IT audit support to leading major process re-engineering projects. You'll utilize deep expertise to manage projects, advise leadership, mentor team members, and ensure the successful alignment of programs with strategic objectives.

What You’ll Work On: 

  • Conduct research and analysis to develop reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for leadership.

  • Lead and manage projects and business process improvements, including planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking.

  • Support developing and aligning strategic guidance, policies, and performance assessments to organizational goals.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and oversight in areas such as IT strategy, cybersecurity, risk management, and continuity planning.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and mentor teams to drive initiatives, resolve issues, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with project management, process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, and leadership

  • Experience with specialized tools such as MS Visio, MS Project, or JIRA

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Management field and 7+ years of experience in IT, project management, GEOINT, or information assurance, or 10+ years of experience in IT, project management, GEOINT, or information assurance in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:   

  • Possession of excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills

  • PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or ITIL Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
