Job Description:

As a Business Analyst specializing in CTRM, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the intricacies of commodity trading operations and leverage your expertise in CTRM systems to optimize processes and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to commodity trading activities, risk management, and financial reporting.
• Evaluate existing CTRM systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design and implement solutions within CTRM systems to enhance trading strategies, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of CTRM systems and tools.
• Develop and maintain documentation including business process flows, system configurations, and user manuals.
• Partner with IT teams and vendors to customize CTRM solutions, integrate with other systems, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in commodity trading and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on CTRM systems, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize trading operations, minimize risks, and maximize profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CTRM certification) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the commodity trading industry, with a focus on CTRM systems.
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in using CTRM systems such as OpenLink Endur, Allegro, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR) governing commodity trading operations is desirable.
