BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – HOME CARE

Full Time: Up to 40 Hours per Week

Location: Eastleigh base

Salary: £31,000 + bonus scheme

As we continue to expand our home care services, we are looking for a proactive, driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the care sector, enjoys building relationships and has the ambition to develop into a broader leadership role within the business.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing our service by developing referral relationships, generating and converting new client opportunities, carrying out initial care assessments and ensuring prospective clients and their families receive an exceptional experience from their very first contact with us.

You will work closely with the Business Manager, Registered Manager and wider Leadership Team, giving you exposure to both the commercial and operational management of a successful home care business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Has strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Is proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Is confident following up opportunities and converting enquiries into clients

  • Can analyse performance and take ownership of results

  • Has excellent computer and administrative skills

  • Can work independently while contributing positively to the wider team

  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, compassion and reliability

  • Has a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Previous experience in business development, Sales, care assessments, care management, care coordination, client relationship management or branch operations within domiciliary care would be particularly advantageous.

For someone with the right ambition and capability, success in this position can provide the foundation to progress into Branch Manager and take responsibility for the growth and performance of a branch.
