About Skan AI
Be at the Forefront of the Agentic AI Revolution
At Skan AI, we are pioneering the context engine for human and agentic execution, bringing context from enterprise operators, systems, and processes to power how the world's largest organizations execute their most complex, mission-critical work.
Why Skan AI
We're in hyper-growth mode at exactly the right moment in history. As enterprises race to adopt agentic AI, we're uniquely positioned to deliver the clear signal they desperately need: a platform that trains and grounds AI Agents in trillions of real execution signals, enabling reliable, compliant automation of their most complex processes.
Backed by Dell Technologies Capital and other leading investors, we're the only company that can bridge the gap between AI's promise and enterprise reality, making us perfectly positioned to define the agentic era for modern enterprises.
Our diverse, collaborative team of 250+ innovators is solving category-defining challenges at the intersection of AI, process intelligence, and enterprise work. Diverse perspectives fuel breakthrough thinking, cross-functional collaboration is the norm, and our work directly transforms how Fortune 500 companies operate. We are shaping the future of work itself.
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to generate qualified pipeline in Skan's target enterprise accounts: large banks, insurers, healthcare systems, and technology firms. You own the first conversation, whether it starts with your outreach or with an inbound request. You research the account, build a point of view worth a senior executive's time, run the outreach across channels, and qualify well enough that the meeting you set is a meeting a Strategic Account Director wants to take.
Depth is the standard. Every touch should carry real research behind it, and every account you work should get sustained, multi-threaded attention rather than a single pass. The people you are reaching are COOs, CIOs, heads of transformation, and automation leaders at Fortune 500 companies, and they respond to precision about their own operation. Inbound requests get the same treatment: fast response, the same research, the same qualification bar. You will work directly with Strategic Account Directors on named account plans, with Marketing on campaign and content follow-up, and with the Partnerships team on partner-sourced introductions.
The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of business development experience at a B2B SaaS company covering both inbound qualification and outbound prospecting, has worked large enterprise accounts with long sales cycles, and is comfortable on the phone with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Outbound Pipeline Generation
- Run targeted outreach by phone, email, LinkedIn, and video into named Fortune 500 accounts across BFSI, healthcare, and technology.
- Work inbound interest from campaigns, events, content, and website requests: research the account, qualify, and convert it into a meeting.
- Generate qualified meetings that convert into sourced pipeline for Strategic Account Directors.
- Stay with an account across multiple touches, channels, and stakeholders instead of dropping it after one sequence.
Account Research & Messaging
- Research each target account to understand its operating model, transformation priorities, and likely process pain before the first touch.
- Write account-specific messaging that speaks to what a COO, CIO, or transformation leader is actually trying to fix.
- Multi-thread across business units and personas within each account, including operations, transformation, automation, and IT.
Qualification & Handoff
- Run initial discovery calls to qualify fit, pain, timing, and stakeholder authority against Skan's ICP and qualification criteria.
- Document what you learned so the Strategic Account Director walks into the next meeting fully briefed.
- Hold the standard for what counts as a qualified meeting, and protect the time of the sales team.
CRM Discipline & Tooling
- Keep account, contact, and activity data accurate and complete in the CRM.
- Use the prospecting stack (sequencing, intent, enrichment, conversation intelligence) and the agentic workflows built for pipeline generation.
- Give structured feedback on which personas, messages, and sequences are producing meetings so the playbook improves.
Key Metrics for Success
- Qualified Meetings Held: Number of qualified meetings held with target accounts each month and quarter.
- Sourced Pipeline: Dollar value of qualified opportunities sourced and accepted by Sales.
- Meeting-to-Opportunity Conversion: Percentage of held meetings that convert into accepted opportunities.
- Account Penetration: Number of target accounts with active, multi-threaded engagement across personas and business units.
- Outreach Quality & Speed to Lead: Depth and relevance of the research behind each touch, and response time on inbound requests and marketing-generated leads.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years in a business development or similar role at a B2B SaaS company, covering both inbound qualification and outbound prospecting.
- Experience prospecting into large enterprise accounts with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable cold calling and holding a substantive conversation with senior operators (COO, CIO, VP Operations, transformation and automation leaders).
- Strong written messaging skills: short, specific, and relevant to the account.
- Hands-on with a modern prospecting stack (Salesforce or equivalent CRM, Outreach or Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and comfortable using AI tools in daily research and outreach.
- Organized, coachable, and consistent; you run your day against a plan.
- Process intelligence, agentic AI, RPA, or automation domain experience a plus.
Why Join Skan AI?
- Be part of a category-creating company building the full agentic lifecycle.
- Open the first conversation with senior leaders at some of the largest enterprises in the world.
- Join a passionate, global team united by curiosity, integrity, and impact.
- In-office and remote work mix with global exposure.
- Competitive compensation and equity opportunities.
